Potion making
Every autumn, I am fascinated by the subject of magic and witchcraft. How I would love to stand by the cauldron and watch the magician rabbit as he concocts a dream potion. This illustration is a fictional double page from a picture book that follows two little witches as they learn their magic. Translated into English, the text says:
“Listen carefully! Yes, you too, Nightling. An effective dream potion requires determination above all else. A pinch of wish powder can't hurt either. But above all, you must be determined to make the most beautiful dream ever dreamed come true.”
Incidentally, I grew very fond of the Nightling while drawing it. I definitely want to dedicate more illustrations to it.
